Women ‘Continuing To Fake It’
By admin • Jun 15th, 2010As ladies queued around the block to see the latest instalment of the Sex and the City franchise, it could be argued that women have been liberated in the bedroom and are happy to compare notes with their pals and even offer tips for improvement to their partners.
However, a recent poll by Cosmopolitan has revealed that three out of five women have admitted to faking their orgasms because their do not wish to upset their man.
Meanwhile, 34 per cent claimed that they reason they choose to put on a show for their live-in partner or husband is because they are tired.
Rosie Mullender, commissioning editor for Cosmopolitan, said that if things are not great in the bedroom then ladies should not have to fake it but should "gently" explain to their man what it is that they do enjoy.
"I think a lot of women think that a guy will be upset or offended if you say that there are particular things that you do or don’t want in bed, but most men are delighted to be given pointers as long as you say it in the right way," she added.
Ms Mullender advised ladies who felt they could not vocalise what it is they want to instead use their body language to get the message across.
Meanwhile, a recent survey conduced by OnePoll for UKdating.com revealed that 63 per cent of people admit that their love life could be improved, with 39 per cent even considering leaving their partner because of this.
