Britain’s Got Talent Is Back
By admin • Apr 16th, 2010It’s that time of year again when dancers, musicians, illusionists and impressionists hit the stage to try and convince three judges of questionable talent that they have what it takes to impress the nation.
This Sunday (April 18th) will see the launch of the fourth series of ITV1’s Britain’s Got Talent, which to date has helped to launch the careers of Paul Potts, George Sampson and Susan Boyle.
And according to the Sun, this year one of the biggest surprises of the series may be the transformation of Simon Cowell into Mr Nice Guy.
It is reported that Simon, who is joined on the judging panel by Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan on the judging panel, turned into a big softie when one of last year’s entries, 13-year-old drummer Kieron Gaffney, tried his luck a second time.
Simon told him: "I have never got so many texts from people telling me off for not putting you through. You were unbelievable."
However, he went on to advise the lad, who was performing with his family’s group Mixed Emotions, to leave his parents at home next time, claiming that they were "atrocious".
Simon may be losing his Mr Nasty image, after getting engaged earlier in the year to make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy.
Are you looking forward to Britain’s Got Talent?
