Cheryl Comes To Fergie’s Rescue
By admin • Nov 9th, 2009Following their performance on the X Factor this weekend, Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie revealed that a crisis had been averted when Cheryl Cole stepped in to lend her shoes to the singer.
The US band were performing their hit Meet Me Halfway on the ITV talent show but Fergie was set to walk out barefoot after realising that the stilettos she had brought along did not match the nude-coloured, 1930s style beaded dress she planned to wear.
Speaking on ITV2’s The Xtra Factor, Fergie said: "At the last minute [... they] didn’t match the dress and she’s a size smaller than I am so I had to stretch into them [...] that’s show business, that happens sometimes."
I’m sure there are plenty of ladies who would love nothing more than to have the opportunity to step out in one of the Girls Aloud singer’s many pairs of designer shoes - I know I certainly would.
The pair she loaned to Fergie were of a similar shade to the US popstar’s dress and featured bows on the toes.
The X Factor ended in controversy last night, after Welsh singer Lucie Jones lost out in the public vote to twins John and Edward.
Have you ever had to step in to help your friend avoid a wardrobe crisis?
