Nicole, Kate And Penelope Hit Red Carpet For Nine
By admin • Dec 4th, 2009The all singing, all dancing musical Nine premiered in London this week and some of Hollywood’s most glamorous stars took to the red carpet as part of the event.
Nine stars more leading ladies than a night at the Academy Awards, including Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson and Sophia Loren.
And the cast also has an impressive number of Academy Awards already tucked under its belt as well as one Oscar nomination.
Other stars of the new film from Chicago director Rob Marshall are Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, the UK’s own Judi Dench and Black Eyed Peas’ singer Fergie.
The musical was written by the creator of Chicago Federico Fellini and is semi-autobiographical, telling the story of his relationships with nine different women in his life.
And the glamorous stars did not fail to impress on the red carpet, with Nicole braving the cold in a white blazer, 1930s flapper-style skirt and nude heels, while Kate opted for a striking white asymmetric gown with lace bodice.
Penelope, meanwhile, kept the cold at bay with a fluffy white coast and ruffled, floor-length blue gown.
For ladies looking for a spot of old fashioned glamour this Christmas, Nine may be the perfect choice.
