Who Will Get Your X Factor Vote?
By admin • Dec 11th, 2009This weekend there is likely to be little people want to talk about other than the long-awaited final of The X Factor - and Saturday and Sunday night might see arguments break out around the country about who Brits wish to win.
The finalists this year are Olly Murs, Joe McElderry and Stacey Solomon and the live shows promise to be electric, with the wannabes set to be joined on stage by Robbie Williams, Michael Buble and George Michael.
But who will win? While Stacey is now the only girl left, Olly has been one of the favourites from the start thanks to his dance moves, while Joe is the only contestant to have had a standing ovation from all four of the show’s judges.
Whoever the winner is, they will go straight from one battle to another - the fight to secure the coveted Christmas number one spot.
However, there could be a fly in the ointment, with a Facebook group campaigning to get rockers Rage Against The Machine’s 1992 hit Killing In The Name to number one now boasting some 500,000 members.
Last year, X Factor winner Alexandra Burke’s cover of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah raced straight to the top of the chart with 576,000 copies of the song sold, ironically beating both Jeff Buckley’s cover of the track and Cohen’s version.
