Has Robbie Finally Found Love?
By admin • Nov 10th, 2009Following a return to the top of the pop charts for his former band mates Take That in recent years, Robbie Williams has returned to the UK to steal the nation’s hearts once again.
However, it seems the singer and Brit Award winner’s own heart now belongs to one lucky lady, after he told how he is in love with his girlfriend, American actress Ayda Field.
Robbie told the ladies on ITV’s lunchtime show Loose Women yesterday (November 9th): "I’m in love."
The singer opened up to Carol McGriffin, Denise Welch, Sherrie Hewson and presenter Kate Thornton, telling them that getting married to the 30-year-old actress and having children "could be on the cards".
This is not the first time that Robbie has hinted he may finally be ready to settle down, telling Jonathan Ross on his BBC chat show recently: "I thought I was going to be a bachelor [...] I was introduced to Ayda and things just changed. She’s a wonderful person and I’m in love. She’s really broody and I’m getting there."
His comments could convince you that if Robbie is ready to say goodbye to his bachelor days, then there is hope if you too are waiting for your boyfriend to finally get down on one knee and pop the big question.
And single ladies who want to net a man may wish to grab their dancing shoes, as a recent poll by the sports and hobbies website Clubbz.com has revealed that the hobby women can possess which is the most attractive to men is dancing.
This was closely followed by yoga, swimming, cookery and pole dancing, which may mean that while guys could still expect their ladies to keep them well-fed, they will be happy to reward them with a night on the dance floor.
Meanwhile, girls who wish their man had any hobby as long as it does not involve spending hours on a games console could be happy to hear that another recent poll by PS3PriceCompare.co.uk has revealed that blokes who own such a console are less likely to stray then men who don’t.
Mike Elsmore, head developer of PS3PriceCompare.co.uk, said: "I suppose gamers either just don’t have the time or the motivation to go out and cheat, as most of them would prefer to spend their leisure time at home with their consoles rather than going out and about. For the gamer, the console is his mistress."
However, I’m sure you’ll agree that sometimes it is easy to feel just as jealous of the attention a man lavishes on his console as you would be if it was another woman.
It could be said that Robbie is one man who has pulled himself away from his console for long enough to appreciate his other half.
Just a few weeks ago, Robbie performed his new single Bodies live on ITV’s The X Factor.
And it seems that like much of the rest of the country, the singer loves watching twins John and Edward, telling Liverpool’s Radio City 96.7 he would love to see them perform, but that he believed Olly Murs would win the show this year.
