End Of The Road For Charlotte And Gavin
By admin • Jun 1st, 2010After five years together, Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson have announced that their romance has reached the end of the road.
The singer and the Welsh rugby star have two children together - Ruby and Dexter - and had only recently announced their engagement, after Gavin popped the question with a stunning heart-shaped diamond.
A spokesperson for the couple has confirmed the split but released no further details, although, according to the News of the World, Charlotte will keep the family home, while Gavin will look for a property near by.
Charlotte recently embarked on her television comeback by taking up a judge’s role on the BBC One series Over the Rainbow, where she unveiled her trim new figure.
It is reported that the couple spent much time soul-searching before coming to the mutual decision that their relationship was over.
However, the news may have come as a surprise to many, following Charlotte’s gushing comments about her engagement to Gavin.
Speaking to OK! earlier in the year, Charlotte revealed that the rugby star had got down on to one knee and said: "We’ve been together five years now, we’ve had good times and hard times, but it’s mostly been good times and I think we’re meant to be together now for the rest of our lives."
