SJP Admits “I Feel Old”
By admin • May 18th, 2010Many women may be eagerly awaiting the release of the second instalment of the Sex and the City franchise later in the month as a chance to catch up with all the latest goings-on in the lives of the movie’s uber-glamorous ladies.
And no character is likely to invoke more lifestyle envy than that of Carrie Bradshaw, who lives an affluent life in New York City, using her income as a writer to fund a wardrobe many ladies can only dream of.
So it may come as a relief for fans of the show that in real life, Sarah Jessica Parker does not feel nearly as glam all of the time as her on-screen persona.
Speaking to Heat magazine about her beauty secrets, the 45-year-old mum of three said: "I don’t have one. I feel old and tired! I have children I run round after, I try to walk as much as possible and other than that I buy every cream possible."
And when it comes to the ultimate perk of working on a Sex and the City film - the clothes - SJP admitted that she does not get to keep them, but has to return the costumes, along with her stunning red carpet outfits, the next day.
Indeed, she revealed that her life is very different to Carrie’s, the Daily Mail reports.
In the new Sex and the City film, Carrie is set to run into her old flame Aidan.
