Celebrities ‘Leading The Way In Hair Styles’
By admin • Feb 5th, 2010Just over a month into 2010, you may wish to brighten up the gloomy weather and get the year off to a good start by getting a new hair style, which could see you being the envy of all your friends.
And if you are planning to pay a visit to the hairdressers for an on-trend cut, you may wish to take inspiration from top girl singers, such as Pixie Lott, Girls Aloud or The Saturdays.
Indeed, Jules Holland, creative director at Mark Hill Salon, said such celebrities have been instrumental in putting the Dallas look of the 1980s back in Vogue, with big, full hair now ruling the red carpet.
He added there are "absolutely loads" of celebrities sparking off big hair trends at the moment - and this is not something new.
After all, who can forget the popularity of Victoria Beckham’s do the ‘Pob’ or her later crop?
And Posh Spice has recently upped the game by having a haircut which has become the latest It look - the shag.
Diane Kruger, Zoe Saldana and Jessica Alba, have all been snapped with similar hair styles, according to Elle Magazine.
Looking to the hair styles which will take off this year, Mr Holland said: "Hair adornment is really big this year, [as is] the natural look and 1940s old-school Hollywood glamour. You will see there are a lot of pictures of celebrities wearing diamante clips over to one side, low slung chignons."
Are you planning a new look this year?
