Long Hair ‘Key To Glamorous New Year Look’
By admin • Dec 29th, 2009Ladies who want all eyes to be on them - and for all the right reasons - this party season may wish to take a style tip from X Factor judge Cheryl Cole by wearing their hair long, thick and glossy when they step out for the evening.
Cos Sakkas, TONI&GUY international artistic director, advises women to blow dry their barnet using a volume mousse, before tonging small sections of hair and brushing out into sleek and glamorous waves.
Similar to the classic Hollywood look seen on the red carpet in the 1940s and 50s, such a style is unlikely to ever go out of fashion and Mr Sakkas also recommended adding a retro feel by parting the hair on one side and sweeping over the shoulder.
"Longer hair is great as it allows such versatility, a really great look at the moment - as seen on the catwalk - are glamorous vintage waves," he explained.
Along with Cheryl, Hollywood star Diane Kruger also brought a touch of vintage glamour to the red carpet at the Inglourious Basterds DVD launch in LA recently, according to Look.co.uk.
Will you be taking style tips from the stars this New Year’s Eve?
